The Descendants of Queen Mary IV and IIIThis table shows the legitimate descendants of Queen Mary IV and III. In order to make it most useful for determining the succession to the throne, male children are listed before female children. Notes:Since the death of King Henry IX and I in 1807 no member of the Royal Family has publicly used his English or Scottish titles. The English and Scottish titles accorded to members of the Royal Family in this table are those used for them by the Jacobites. Foreign titles are generally given in both the original language and in English translation. According to the Weimar Constitution of August 11, 1919, titles of nobility only have value as part of a person's name in the German Republic; thus Engelbert, Prince of Croy, uses the name Engelbert Prinz von Croÿ (where "Prinz von Croÿ" is his surname). In spite of the law against titles of nobility they are widely used in German society. Since April 3, 1919 all titles of nobility have been illegal in the Austrian Republic; today they are not even generally used in social circumstances. Baptismal sponsors are occasionally listed.
