BatteryDirect

BatteryDirect is a new well-designed JE standard, where several devices each own a direct connection to the battery. This allows simultaneous charging and use of equipment requiring battery power. All compatible products have this symbol:

Simple battery charger

This compact battery charger is designed for VRLA batteries (listed below). It checks for correct polarity and limits the charging current of almost any small 12V lead-acid battery.

A switch selects one of two charging currents, allowing batteries of various sizes to be used.

The charger is shown at the bottom of the picture. Above it are a battery and the AC adapter.
