Forensics Lab

Some of the graduate and undergraduate students at Texas State University, enrolled in "Forensic Techniques and Identification" are shown here completing case analysis on skeletal remains, in the forensic lab which is located at the Center for Archaeological Studies.

In this class, the students divide into groups and each group is given a forensic case to complete. The first week of a two week time frame, the students work as a team to determine, sex, age, race, stature and trauma on real forensic cases delivered to the forensic lab from all over the state of Texas.

The second week, each group of students will present their findings in their particular case which ultimately leads to great discussion.
