About Me

I study the economics of development, and I'm especially interested in the relationship between culture, institutions and economic growth. I'm currently working on a field experiment to investigate the effect of property security in farming communities in Kenya. I'm also working on a project with Arthur Blouin where we apply machine learning to lexical data to understand the relationship between economic power and cultural power.
