Adenomatoid Odontogenic Tumour

Epidemiology:

• Children, teenagers (<30y)
• Females predilection

Common sites:

• Anterior jaws
• Associated with impacted teeth

Gross features:

• Well-circumscribed

Histologic features:

• Epithelioid proliferation (odontogenic epithelium)
• Whorled “balls” of cells within the proliferation
• Pseudoducts within proliferation
• Foci of enameloid / dentinoid (eosinophilic, amorphous)
