Common sites:

Gross features:

• small, multiloculated
• nodular appearance in areas (like cauliflower)

Histologic features:

• mullerian epithelial tumour with a pronounced proliferation of the underlying fibrous stroma
• if simple papillary processes, not as complicated and branching as a normal cystadenoma
• cysts present, then designated cystadenofibroma
