Bland epithelial cells and myoepithelial
cells

Solid, cystic, ductal / glandular, cribriform, papillary, and lobular patterns
·        
Background matrix can be hyalinized or myxoid
·        
Difficult to differentiate from pleomorphic
adenoma sometimes
·        
Infiltration of surrounding gland
·        
Perineural spread
predilection
·        
Necrosis absent usually
·        
Mitoses low usually
