  - Infiltration of eccrine sweat ducts by infiltrating basaloid cells

Gross features:
 
  - nodule with a
      constricted base
 
  
 
 
Histologic features:
 
  - elongated,
      branched, and trabeculoar strands of basaloid cells
 
  
   - symmetrical
 
   - extend deep in
       dermis
 
   - basal palisading
 
   - stromal retraction is uncommon
 
  
  - eccrine ducts within some strands
 
  - fibromucinous stroma
 
  
   - stromal-stromal separation may be present
