Gross features:
- plaque or nodule
- flesh-coloured to yellow
- slowly growing
Histologic features:
- dermal-centred tumour
- extensive
infiltration of deep dermis and subcutaneous tissues
- perineural invasion often
- keratocysts, trabeculae,
and ductules
- keratocysts predominate superficially
- trabeculae and ductules
predominate at deeper aspect
- all 3 in middle
of tumour
- dense fibrous stroma investing the epithelial units
- mitoses rare
- necrosis uncommon
