Epidemiology and Etiology:

·         African females

 

Common sites:

·         Lower extremities

 

Gross features:

·          

 

Histologic features:

·         Poorly circumscribed

·         Duct-like structures of variable size

·         Distinctive luminal micropapillary fronds

·         Cuboidal epithelium 2 or more cells thick

·         Configuration similar to florid ‘simple’ intraductal hyperplasia in the breast

·         Focal luminal “pseudonecrotic” secretion

·         Lack of macrocysts as seen in digital papillary adenocarcinoma

·         May have apocrine differentiation

·         Squamous or clear cell metaplasia maybe
