Road Trip to Nanaimo for Lindsey's Birthday
Sunday, June 8, 2003

We all tried to make the trek up-Island for Lindsey, who was getting all lonely in Nanaimo.  We dropped by Coombs to see the Norwegian-styled house market (only there were no goats!).  At Englishman Falls, we ate at the picnic tables - Subway food those of us who had gone for the "Three Sub" Sunday special, and real food for those who brought/made their own.  The afternoon was spent hiking around the falls, then playing frisbee, hunting for mini-crabs, or sleeping (haha) on the beach in Parksville.

 At Lindsey's place, it was playing on the trampoline! followed by the BIGGEST feast we've all had in the longest time - yum!  thanks so much to Lindsey's family!

Unfortunately I had to take off quite early to catch the Nanaimo-Vancouver ferry but what a great day it was.
As Lindsey put it:

3 Invisible goats on a roof
2 Waterfall jumpers
1000 Mini-Crabs (I still don't think we can eat them Anup)
Lots of food
1 Sunset
====================
1 Great Party

Thanks to Jenny for organizing, and to Chris W. for the pictures below.
