London in two photos, plus summary.

Westminster Abbey from a distance, in one of the most quintessential "London" photos I could have taken, methinks. Red double-decker bus (I'm sitting in it) plus underground symbol on a street sign plus prototypically British building (the Abbey) equals a perfect representation of my hurried bus tour, which is all I had time for in Merry Olde England...

I actually really like this photo. More so than all the other photos of Big Ben I've seen, in fact! Never mind the fact that I wanted it to be in focus--I think it makes the photo so much more... dynamic this way.

And here is the route my London-to-Washington plane took, just so you know. And you also know where Stephenville is! I really liked being able to tune into this 'station' on the plane, both because of the unrelated geography and because you could see, to the mile or kilometre, how far away we were, what temperature it was, what time it was at both the origin and destination... yes, very exciting, I know.
Not pictured: blurry photos of London streets, boring photo of the Millenium/Ferris Wheel, similarly uninspired photo of St. Paul's Cathedral, silly photo of the Star Trek convention going on in a huge tent in Hyde Park... Fun stuff, but I can't in all honesty say that I've really been to London. I was just passing through, but next time, I'll get a better sense of the place.
