Bracciano, mostly

So here's a long-distance photo of Bracciano; the body of water is Lake Bracciano (along the circumference of which is located Trevignano, Anguillara and the eponymous town).

One view of the castle...

...and another. I guess, living in a town such as this, one might get used to seeing a castle at the foot of one's street. That was not the case for me, as evidenced by my taking two more photos of this castle alone, from which you will be spared, thankfully. It has cannonball damage in at least one of its turrets, but I'd say that currently, it's more often rented out for events than being laid siege to.

On our way to Pescara, on the other side of the country! Again, thank you thank you thank you to Jojo and Stefano for driving me to the tiny airport there; I don't know why I so rashly rushed into the Ryanair ticket, but I did, and then I had to take advantage of it, and so we went, and I hope your day trip was enjoyable! I liked the drive, myself. Lots of mountains, lots of castles, lots of Italian place names on highway signs.

This was taken at the pool that all three of the kids swim at, and I'm not sure whose sunglasses Bea is wearing, but I'm sure we can all agree they look very cute.

The back porch, and it's Michele's back we see.

This is at Pescara airport...

...as is this. Chicco was at Scouts and didn't come with us that morning, so sadly I have no photo of him from this trip. I'm sure I'll have a chance again, though!
Not pictured: the streets of Bracciano, the view of the lake from up near the castle, greenery...
