+ Happy birthday CARLIN (Feliz aniversário CARLIN), today you become 21 :) I would like to wish that you have a good year and that all your dreams come true... I also hope you enjoyed your birthday even though there was a stupid biochem test on the same day. I love you and today is the day to celebrate the birth of Car Car.

+ Last night Carly and I went to watch a really good movie, it was called "Match Point", and it was a Woody Allen movie. I don't know too many of his movies but Car is a pretty big fan, and she was really shocked with how different the stile of this movie was from his older ones. I really enjoyed the movie, it was really really well directed and done. They managed to make a really cliché story be suspenseful. Even though there is no violence or any shocking scenes, you still get shocked many times in the movie. Summarizing it, it was great and I recommend it to everyone.

+ Yesterday we also saw a shooting of a new movie taking place, at the CBC. The movie will be called "Man of the year" and we saw Robin Williams there. Christopher Walken was also supposed to be in the movie. Then Carlin got some mushrooms and some parmigiano reggiano cheese, and we made some Risotto al Fungui. It was some good food.

+ Last night Carlin gave me a haircut, I think it turned out very good. In the last 7 years now, I've only had my hair cut professionally once. Well anyway, today I have a special picture to post and very little to say. Here is one of my favorite pictures of my dog, which unfortunately died a few years ago but she was an awesome dog.

+ Last friday Carlin, Yang and I went to the science centre and we saw the exibit "Body Worlds 2". It was pretty good, and then we watched a "Mystery of the Nile", an IMAX dome documentary, it was great and a lot of fun. Then on saturday my parents came over because my dad wanted to go to this boat show downtown, and because later we were going to go eat out at "spring rolls", which was great. I love the food there, we went to celebrate my mom's birthday which was actually yesterday.

+ I had my physics test today, it didn't go that well but I think I can pull a 75 or so. I hope I do at least cause I don't want this class to pull my GPA down too much. Well today nothing much happened besides that. I just wanted to post a picture that I had from our trip to Windsor. Later I will also add a lot more pictures on the photo section, I just want to get the DVD of the trip so I can get all the best ones. Click on the picture for Full Size. Here there are more pictures [1] & [2]

+ We just got back from Windsor. Me and 19 other people were representing UofT in the Canadian University Science Competition 2006 (CUSG) in Windsor. It was a great trip, there were ups and downs but in general Carlin and I had a really great time. There were 6 events: Trivia which we actually kicked ass and won, Debate which we came 3rd, Sports where we did decently for our expectations. Wilfrid Laurier won the debate even though I though they had a pretty poor team, just not worse that Western that came in second, even thought they made up the science used for they arguments. Windsor supposedly won sports , even though we know that Ottawa won every single game they played. Then on the second day we had the cascade even where Waterloo won and somehow we didn't even qualify, even thought I am pretty sure we had one of the best works out of all the schools. We also had art which we didn't make the podium but we did pretty well... There was also a scavenger hunt even where we placed 2nd after Wilfrid Laurier. Now the most upsetting event of this trip was the fact that Windsor won the competition even thought they only got one 1st place and no other podiums, and we know that they did shitty on trivia and debate, so that really doesn't make any sort of sense. To make it even more obvious one of the organizers from Windsor sent a message to Maclains which seemed sort of suspicious. Anyway, the whole thing was a lot of fun and I think everyone really enjoyed it. I will definitely post pictures later, once I have lots of them. The Pub Night was also a lot of fun, I never thought I'd see all the UT people dancing like I did, it was definitely a moment of shock. We actually have some really good dancers among us. We had a great time also last night on the formal dinner and the amazing pillow fight afterwards. But there was a scary part to the trip on the way back, on the train, we were all kind of tired and sleepy. At one point Alvina came and asked if Sheiban has problems breathing when he sleeps, well we then realized that he was having what I think was a seizure. He was shaking and breathing really weirdly, he was also salivating a lot. Well we held him a little and a nurse was on the train and assisted us. We stopped at the next station and he was taken to the hospital, everything is OK now but I hope that doesn't happen again to Sheiban. Well as soon as I remember more of what happened on the trip I'll post here. I want to thank everyone one that went for the great time we had. Carlin, Deep, Sheiban, Mihir, Ryan, Arpit, Noaman, Alvina, Andrew, Abinav, Rustan, Devesh, Neal, Monica, Diana, Victor, Shabab, Xiaowen and Moe. Thanks to Josh as well for all the help organizing everything.

+ Feliz ano novo para todo mundo, e espero que todo mundo ai no Brasil tenha um bom ano. Happy new year everyone, I finally came back to Toronto, so I'll start posting again. My Christmas break was very good, it was nice to be home and relax with the family. I also got to do some fun stuff with Carlin, we went skiing and snow tubing. We also went to Huntsville for a few days which was a lot of fun too. It was a good time, even though we had a sad point when Perro (Car's dog) got really sick, it had a kidney infection and at one point we were all scared that she wouldn't make it. Happily she is a lot healthier now and she might be good again without surgery. I also got some new computer parts which also makes me extremely happy. I bought a MSI K8N Neo4-F Motherboard + AMD Athlon64 3200+ CPU + Nvidia 6600 PCIe video card (256Mb) + 1Gb RAM + an awesome X-blade case ... So far I'm really happy with all the parts, even though the Mainboard wasn't compatible with win98 so I was forced to put WindowsXP on my PC, my win2000 is only an update so that wasn't an option. I'm alright with XP though, it's just a matter of getting used to all the crap on it. Well a new year is starting and I have a test on Tuesday already so I'll stop here, good luck everyone.
