+ WOW, That's all I can really say about the Physics test today. I have to say that it was the wrose test I've written ever, I am pretty sure that I might have actually failed, below 50. I couldn't do so many questions in there that it's not funny. After the exam I started laughing, I felt some sort of thrill since I've never felt like that after a test, it was a new emotion. Let's all hope for a bell curve.

+ Finally, my fear is over, my chemistry exam today went fine. I think I did relatively well. I'm optimistic enough to hope for a 3.3, 3.7 is possible but only if I got an 87% on that exams, and that my friend, I think is a bit out of my league. Now only two more tests ahead of me, next one is Physics on Thursday, and I have high hopes for that one. It is the class that I have the best chance of getting a 4.0, but that would mean that I kick some ass on that exam, and that does not depend solely on me, it depends on how hard they make the freaking thing. Oh actually I just made a graph here and I would need almost perfect on the exam to get a 4.0 so thats actually not going to happen. but a 3.7 is duable, damn exams that aren't worth all that much, and damn labs cause thats pulling me down by a lot. Well it's all good I should just be happy I'm doing well on these things.

+ Man today was a weird day. Well I had the calc exam and that went pretty badly, but I think I'll get over 60 on it. I really wish though that I got a 70 cause that would give me a 3.0 in that class, and that could be pretty helpfull. But it was a damn hard test... I sort of guesses on 8 questions... well 2 of them i didn't do at all, and 6 were guesses. So thats pretty bad. Then during the test I got my freaking calculator confiscated, that was so annoying. At least the marks for Bio were out today and I did better than I thought. I am pretty sure I ended up with a 3.7 in that course, which makes me very happy. I got a 83.3% and the class average was 63%, so I really have nothing to complain about. Now I just have to focus on Chemistry, my biggest fear, on the bright side it's almost over.

+ Yesterday I hung out with Leo the whole day and we had a really great time. We had some rum and cokes and watched a great movie called, “The Big Lebowski.” I highly recommend. Tonight, however, is time to study for exams. The next big one is calculus and it is definitely a toughie. Also it is time to think about program choices. There are over 200 programs at U of T. But Leo and I both are into life science programs so that limits it a little. Leo is probably going to be a physiologist and I think he will be great at it. There were three programs I found interesting, molecular genetics and microbiology, evolutionary biology and developmental biology. But I am pretty certain I will choose evolutionary biology because it is the most flexible and I find it really fascinating. As well I will get to go on a field trip to Equador or Vietnam or maybe Bermuda. With the Bermuda one I would get to go scuba diving everyday. Anyway, good luck on exams to anyone in them and for everyone else enjoy yourself because the weather is fine!

+ Apparently I am going to Maine in May. That's always exciting. We're going to somewhere called Jackman. Which apparently isn't very far from Quebec. Monday I had my biology exam, and that went alright, I think I might have gotten a good mark, I definately studied hard enough for it. I will be happy with anything over 83%, even though I know thats a lot to ask.

+ Check it !!! I found some really neat games, well actually the people in biome did and I am just pasting the one's I personally enjoyed here so more people get addicted to them, hehehe.. Here is the first one, the objective is to hit a penguin and see how far you can get it. My highest score was 321... I also liked this other game where you have to shoot a cat from a cannon and see how far you can get the cat before it lands on spines and things like that. I got 1720 ft on this one... The other one I liked is more of a logical game, check it out ,"hexxagon", its a lot of fun. E por ultimo tem esse aki...

+ Hey everyone, today I didn't really do much more than study the whole day. I tried to get some of my physics studying done ahead of time, since I won't have that much time when the actual exam comes. Then I was also trying to read some of the biology stuff that way tomorrow I can ask questions on the help session, I doubt I'll get very far tonight anyway. Lately, I have also started to download as many programs as I can on DC++ cause soon enough this piracy party will come to an end. It's too bad, I had really gotten used to the priviledge. I was also thinking today, I really hope I enjoy my future classes more than the ones I'm taking now, but I'm pretty sure second year is almost as crappy as first year, however I am actually excited to take PSL302 next year, even BIO250 shouldn't be too bad. Unfortunately I will have to take another CHM course, damn I hate them. Well HERE is the cartoon for today. Hope everyone enjoy it... Oh by the way, new south park came out yesterday, it was great, fans should check it out. Obrigadao ae todo mundo que tem deixado comentarios na hp.

+ Hey everyone, today I finally picked my posts, I knew pretty much what I want to do now, so I finally chose Physiology Specialist as my first option. I also applied for neuroscience (SPE), developmental biology (SPE), spanish (Minor), Pharmacology/Toxicology (SPE). Now I just have to wait to see if I get accepted. It shouldn't be a problem since last year's cutoff was 2.7. Yesterday I went to the movies with Carlin, Brett and his girlfriend. We saw Sin City, which was alright, it's one of those attempts of making a comic book into a movie. I did like the way it was made though, cause at parts it felt like I was watching a comic book. HERE is the cartoon for today.

+ Finally no more classes, how great is that? Now I just have to study as much as I can to avoid cramming on the next three weeks. Well this weekend I think I took it a bit easier, on Saturday Carlin and I went to the Innis end of the year BBQ, that was a lot of fun and free food. Friday we went to a little gathering of the biome people, and then at night we went to O'Gradys for a little Innis party, which was all right. Yesterday we did a bit of calculus and watched "Full Metal Jacket", which was OK, nothing special even though it's a Stanley Kubrick movie. Well today, so far I just studied biology for a good part of the day and did my laundry and all that stuff... Well not many news to tell really. Besides that my parents bought a sailboat, which is actually sweet, I can't wait to sail during the summer, that should be a lot of fun. Well anyway I think I'll stop now, I updated some sections of the website and also changed it around a bit as most of you already noticed. HERE is the cartoon for today. Enjoy and goodluck on exams !

+ Yesterday I got my Bio ethics essay back and all those hours that I put into it were definitely worth it, I got 90% on the essay and 96 on the presentation. Carlin did even better than me, I think she got a 96% on the essay and a 94% on the presentation or something like that. Today I only have one class, Calculus from 6 to 9 but the good thing is that its the last time I have Calculus class in my life probably, this might come as a surprise, but it kind of feels good. But before that at 2, I'm going to the first meeting of the council that will be organizing the GPA abolition for Arts and Science at UofT. I also got a meeting tomorrow with Prof. Mackay from the Physiology department, that should be pretty good.

+ It's almost over, today I wrote the last mid term of the year, and I think I did pretty well on it. It was a nuclear physics test, which wasn't that bad. Now I only have those damn exams to write which I have a lot of time to prepare for so I have no excuse to do well on most of them. Soon I have to choose my Post for school as well. I was thinking of doing Physiology for a few reasons, first I think I'd like the program a lot. Also cause I don't know what my chances of getting into med school really are, so at least with that if I didn't get in I wouldn' t mind going for graduate school for that. Well it's something to think about, I want to actually talk to professors in PSL to get advice and find out more about the program. HERE is the comic of the day, I'm not actually sure if I've posted this one before, oh well, I wonder if people even like it.

+ Yesterday I went out for dinner with Carlin, we went to Swiss chalet and it was great. Then we went to watch "Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" at the innis theatre. Its a funny movie. Oh I also a new South Park episode, which by the way was one of the best episodes in a while, but the last few were pretty bad I guess.

+ Today I was fooling around on the Internet and I found out that the current president of Latvia (my grampa's birthplace) is a UofT graduate, and she use to teach at the University of Montreal. I thought that was pretty neat. I also found out that the first cyborg in the world is a UofT graduate as well, which is really weird cause I don't really understand how this guy is a cyborg.
