++ After a nice weekend, I have to work tomorrow, which is a holiday. Yesterday Carlin and I celebrated our two year anniversary. For that we went to the KEG and ate some fine steak. It was great, I also got very nice gifts from Carlin. Thank you so much Car, and I can't wait to celebrate our next anniversary with you. I love you.

++ Today is my day off work but I had to go volunteer at the hospital instead. I can't wait to not have to go to work anymore. I'm glad that will happen in 3 weeks or so. I don't know if I mentioned but I finally got an apartment in Toronto. The apartment is on Sherbourne and Wellesley, which is not very far from campus, 30 minute walk. There are also grocery stores around and subway as well, which are really useful sometimes. Now on Monday I have to pick up my courses for next year, hopefully it will be easier than last year... New Harry Potter book came out last week, Carlin was so excited for it and she finished the book in one day, crazy girl. She was actually disappointed once she finished "the half blood prince" because apparently something really tragic happens and an important character dies. But reading it slower for a second time is helping her appreciate the new book better. I started to read #5 a few days ago because I am curious now to know everything that she is talking about, she didn't spoil anything for me but I know that she wants me to know what happens too. Well so I guess I'll stop here and go read a bit more of the book. Take care everyone. OH by the way in the next little while I might take longer to update the website but I am changing some of the codes on the website and also trying to give it a fresh look before the new school year. Nothing huge but it is still taking some time.

++ Oh, this week Cathy and Ingrid, Cathy's syster, came over with my sister. It was a very nice visit, they are staying in Canada for a little while. I hope you guys really enjoy your staying in Canada. Carlin and I will be coming to visit you guys in Toronto soon.
++ Car, thanks for leaving a message here, it was a very nice surprise. I also got a message from Ralph Smith who use to be the owner of a really interesting website that sadly was removed from the net.

++ Having some days off are really great, yesterday I picked up Carlin from work and then she came over and we watched Resident Evil Apocalypse, which I guess is a crappy movie but I really liked it cause I really like the games. I used to be really into them, so seeing the movie is exciting, even though they change the story line a lot. Here is a picture of the fireworks on Canada day.

++ This long weekend has been really great. Yesterday I hung out with Carlin for a while, and it was Canada day so we went down to the marina and watched the fireworks from there. It was really nice, I took some pictures of it and I plan to post them here sometime soon.
++ Now today Carlin and I went to the Live 8 Concert here in Barrie, it was a great time, and as unbelievable as it is, it was free. We saw several cool bands live and some on a big screen. I personally really enjoyed the Barenaked Ladies, they were really funny on stage. DMC was also really cool. Jet, The tragically hip and others were also very good live. Tom Green was the host and I think he did a pretty good job at it. There was a huge line up to get in and it felt like there was a lot of people there. In general I think it was great. Here is a picture from the helicopter that flew on top of us the whole time, I got this one from the CBC website, and I am sure they don't mind.

++ Finally the long weekend is here, and this weekend is extra special because Carlin and I will be going to the Live 8 concert here in Barrie. That should be a lot of fun. This week I also started to look for apartments for next year with Yang. It seems to be hard work to find a nice spot, but hopefully we'll find a nice place soon.
++ I found out that Brazil won the confederation cup a few days ago against Argentina. We kick their asses by 4 x 1. We are also playing Argentina on the under 20 world cup on the semi finals, but I think that might have happened already, I'm not sure.
