"Langsam, Schleppend "

+ I just got home and I'm quite tired but I thought I'd leave a small post here. Today was a pretty good day, I had classes in the morning till 1PM I think, had lunch with Carlin and did some calculus. Then later I went to see the Toronto Symphony Orchestra for the first time and it was actually very interesting and fun. I went with Carlin, Yang and Veronica. Everyone seemed to have enjoyed it. We heard Chopin and Mahler.

+ Today was a long day, full of classes, 7 hours in class plus a few wasted hours trying to get more work done. I think we are reaching limits here, I mean me and Carlin, we've been doing a lot of school work and sometimes we just get so stressed. Under pressure people do funny things, but Ithink in most cases only crap comes out of when you try to squeeze too much on your schedule.

+ Tomorrow should be a lot less stressful though, plus we get to go to a free BBQ. Well I don't have much really to say I guess, except I learned today that the 1st Law of Newton was said thousands of years before Christ (or should I say common era?) by a guy called Mo Ching. Well I'll call it the end of this post I just wanted to leave here the URL of a movie that I watched about two weeks ago called "Garden State", its really good and I know Carlin loved it.

+ Hey everyone, I just got home after a long day of hard work. Carlin and I were full of assignments for this week but I think we got a good amount of work done today.

+ Wednesday night I am going to a concert with Carlin and Yeng, we will go to see live classical music. I personally haven't been to exposed to this type of music live but I am looking foward. We're going to go see Chopin, I'll make sure to post the outcome of the night.

+ I know I haven't really updated this website in a while, but the problem is I am still having technical problems, for some reason the Internet connection here in my apartment seems to be really slow and for some odd reason I can't use FTP to update the website.

+ School is starting to get more demanding, Carlin and I even had to drop our PHY140 to make more time for other courses, now we are actually taking the PHY138, which still seems to be fairly demanding but a lot less complicated, at least in this course we are not expected to know integration and linear algebra. BIO150 seems to be very interesting except the labs which are quite boring, at least the first one was. MAT135 is OK, nothing too hard yet, we just need to keep up with the work and do our reading. CHM139 is also pretty easy so far, nothing really new and it is relatively interesting. Now REL100 has been one of the biggest worries since the lectures are boring and the professor is very monotonous. The reading is also very extensive and I can't seem to keep up with it, I'll definately have to do some hard reading over the weekend.

+ Hey, I wonder how everyone is doing. University has been treating me very well I should say. I have been working a lot, specially for calculus, it is very fast passed. On monday I had my first Bio150 class and it was pretty shocking to see how many people are in that class, my guess is that there are over 1400 students in that single room. It is definitely overwhelming to see that many people fighting to get to the same place you want to get, the competition will definately be intense.

+ Over the last week I have met several people and made many new friends, there is a big diversity of students, and every day I meet more interesting people. UofT also has a lot of events and things to offer students, last friday was free movie night and I saw a documentary on fast food chains called "Super Size Me", which was pretty good and very funny at parts.

+ Well I think this is it for the news, I hope to be able to update the website more frequently as soon as I fix this problem with my computer, I plan on formating my hd on the weekend.

+ Hello everyone, I am now living in Toronto cause I came here to the University and I am loving it so far. I live on a Hotel owned by the university called Chestnut. Yesterday my classes started and I already had physics, chemistry and Calculus. It was everything pretty easy so far but I know that it will get very challenging with time.

Carlin and I am taking life science, so far she has liked the experience as well, there are always the occasional time when one of us get home sick but I guess that is just something we have to get used to.

+ My computer apparently has a virus known as the Sasser worm, and since the university network is very safe they pretty much blocked me from the internet until I can remove it. For this reason the website will be a little out of date for a little while. I hope everyone can still visit the website after the situation gets stabilized. Well this is it for today.

There are no grounds for going beyond a scientific explanation of reality and no sound reason for believing anything but our own sense experience... Why tolerate darkness? Everything is here and clear, if only we look carefully... When I was your age, I lived in bed, racked with polio. I asked myself every day, ' Where is God ? ' God never came. It wasn't God who saved me- it was medicine. Reason is my prophet and it tells me that as a watch stops, so we die. It's the end.

What a terrible disease that must be if it could kill God in a man... That was my first clue that atheists are my brothers and sisters of a different faith, and every word they speak speaks of faith.

Doubt is useful for a while. We must all pass through the garden of Gethsemane. If Christ played with doubt so must we. If Christ spent an anguished night in prayer, if He burst out from the Cross, "My God why have you forsaken me?" then surely we are also permitted doubt. But we must move on. To choose doubt as a philosophy of life is akin to choosing immobility as a means of transportation.

+ Carlin got to Toronto today, and now I have to wait till tomorrow when it will be my turn to move in. Here is a picture taken yesterday, the last day she spend at home, well I guess Toronto will be home now.

+ Hey everyone, today is the last day in Barrie for Carlin, she's moving in tomorrow. As for me I move on monday, due to the fact that my dad has to work today and tomorrow. That's ok though, I have more time to pack then and to make sure im not forgeting anything... Actually I wanted to go there soon too, its really exciting.

+ New Review section is now on the website, but there is nothing much there yet. Soon we'll have book and movie reviews. Carlin is also planning on recommending books there everymonth. So we'll have to wait a little while for that.

+ Hello, I just added a new feature on the website. I really miss how easy it is for people to leave comments on my blig, so I decided I should do something of that kind so people could leave me comments every once in a while. So here it is the Message Temple.

+ Today carlin got a haircut and it looks really nice. I had to take my grandma and my sister to the mall and then later I went to Tony's house with Carlin to meet a bunch of people there and hang out for a little while.
