XENOSAGA II DETAILS + RELEASE DATE

Namco has released some new information in regards to its upcoming PlayStation 2 RPG, XenoSaga Episode II: Beyond Good and Evil. The sequel will deal greatly with the three U.R.T.Vs, Jr., Gaigun, Albedo and his mech, Simeon. Simeon is an E.S. series model powered by an Anima Relic. The story will show how Albedo tries to shoot himself to show Jr. that he has regenerative abilities. This twist in his life is what starts to cause Albedo to drift towards madness. Also, Jr. will meet someone by the name of Sakura inside an Encephelon where U.R.T.Vs train and where Sakura Mizrahi gets her treatment. There is promise that was made between Jr. and Sakura two years ago and it is still being kept.

XenoSaga Episode II will be released on two DVDs in Japan on June 24, 2004. No release date for North America and Europe has been mentioned at this time.
