TODAY IS TOLKIEN READING DAY 2004
Posted on March 25, 2004
"Tolkien Reading Day" was an event that started last year and was aimed at encouraging the use of Tolkien's works in education. School teachers and library staff were to make available his works and if possible read them to students in class. The date of March 25 was chosen because it was one of the most significant dates from the book showcasing the downfall of Sauron.
