For when you want it done right the first time
Handy man Cec Giffin has over thirty years experience as a house painter, plasterer and home handy man. He does the work himself--he doesn't send young people to do it.
Inside work: $35 per hour even on small jobs (minimum 4 hours)
Exterior house painting: $40 per hour
Call 905-420-4175. Cec regrets that when work is very busy he is not able to return phonecalls. Most of his work is for repeat customers. He is most likely to be available for new customers from mid November through March.
Cec's usual work day is 10 to 6.
Cec charges by the hour. He does not do quotes or estimates on his own time. This means that he does not have to inflate his hourly rate to compensate for going out and quoting on a whole lot of jobs.
Repairs and renovations for all areas of your home including kitchens & bathrooms, basements and garages. Interior and exterior home improvements & repair projects. Cec can help you with painting, drywalling and new walls, removing walls, repairs to plaster, installing new sinks and counters, tiling, repairing ceramic tiles, trim work, and other details. He also changes furnace filters, makes or modifies shelves, matches and patches paint, repairs floors, restores scratched and damaged furniture, installs doors, windows, weatherstripping, doorstops, etc. and moves furniture around. Cec is not a plumber, but he can do some small plumbing-related jobs. He is not an electrician, and does not do electrical work.
Save time and trouble by having one handy man do all the little carpentry and painting jobs, rather than having several different tradesmen through your home.
If Cec is busy, check out Emmett Ashford at Toronto painter and home handyman. He's a good guy. (In our opinion; of course we can't guarantee what someone else's opinion will be.)
