In order to
be of service to your students and to be a mindful practitioner,
it is essential that you take care of yourself; your inner and
outer self. This
may seem simple and easy to do, but as we all get caught up in
the roles in our life, we can become less of who we are and more
of the roles that we are to others in our lives. We may be a mother,
father, friend, lover, teacher, counsellor, daughter, son, aunt,
uncle and so on and this takes much time and energy.
To be a whole
and mindful person both in our jobs and in our everyday lives,
it is of utmost importance that we are mindful of our bodies,
hearts, and souls and hear what we are saying.
Regardless of who we are, we are who we are first
then we
are all of the other things that we need to be in our lives.
So, be gentle
with yourself.
We invite
you take a voyage through these pages. Get to know us, our practice
and our struggles. We hope this will help you along your personal
journeys of perseverance, resistance, resiliance and learning.
Throughout your trip, we encourage you to leave your comments,
ideas and inspirations here.
