I am an associate professor of the Department of Management at the University of Toronto, Mississauga. I am also cross-appointed at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. Before joining UofT, I was an assistant professor of IEDA@HKUST. I received my Ph.D. from the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) department at Columbia University in Oct 2015. In research, I am interested in various approaches to making data-driven decisions in the context of revenue management. My research is also broadly related to statistics. I have served as a guest associate editor for Naval Research Logistics, the program committee for WINE 2022, and the chair of the RMP and Machine Learning in OR clusters at INFORMS 2023. I enjoy working on real-world business problems related to pricing and assortment/ranking optimization. I have worked on projects with BAM, Polymatiks, and Alibaba.
