PJRO stands for Penyem Jamorai Relief Organization. It is an organization specifically dedicated for sustainable agricultural development in rural areas of Gambia, West Africa. This project has been started by Lamin Jarju a graduate from the University of Toronto and a specialist in African Studies, Political Science major and History.

About the Project Director
My name is Lamin Jarju. I came from Penyem, Gambia, West Africa. I am the director of the Penyem Jamorai Relief Organization (PJRO) Project. This project is currently based in Toronto with the hope of gaining substantial funding and assistance. The aim of this project is to help the rural people of Gambia, particularly the Penyem village; to become self-reliant and help them to make choices of their own. This may include adult education classes as well as new or advance methods in agriculture.

Since the project is in its infancy, funding well be the main option for the materilization of the initiative.; As such, I ask all those who are concerned about the wellbeing of humanity to contribute to make sure that this project is a success. Thanks.
