“Canadian Institute of Russian Language” was founded in Toronto to help Canadians and those who wish to know Russian to know it. You will be able to read and write in four lessons. You will be able to know 800 words after 10 lessons. However, it will need you one year to communicate without rude grammar mistakes. In addition, you will need some time to devote to learn the language. We do not offer pills that provide instant knowledge – we offer scientifically approved methods.

Canadian Institute of Russian Language has a network of highly professional teachers who were specially trained to teach Russian as a foreign language. Our teachers may give private lessons in different locations of GTA (Mississauga, Vaughan, North York, East York) or come to you. Usually teachers come once a week, they bring textbooks published in Russia and USA, or they may have their own materials (all of them have PhDs in linguistics). You will get one-to-one lessons with tailor made lessons that reflect you interests, your level of knowledge, you pace of learning.

If you wish to continue studies in Russia you may chose out of 10 Universities in Moscow (though we recommend you Center for International Education of the Moscow State University with which we have long term relations). We may also assist you in enrolling in the University of Pittsburgh (PA, USA) Summer Language Program.

It is your choice how much time you are devoting to mastering the Russian language. We recommend that you have at lest one lesson a week. The prices slightly vary from the place where you live and as of February 2005 they are 35$ CDN for 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes).
