(3)OUT ON BAY STREET | FRIDAY OCTBER 3RD & 4TH

Only two weeks left to register for this year’s “Out On Bay Street” professional students and leaders LGBT conference!

 http://www.outonbayst.org/conference-registration.php

The conference takes place in Toronto on October 3 and 4, with the goal of  educating the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) business leaders of the future and to bring together inclusive companies and LGBT students at a career fair.   The event will provide inclusive firms with a venue to meet with and talk to university students in business, economics, law, engineering, and related fields that are looking for welcoming organizations in which to build their careers.

"Out on Bay Street" highlights Toronto's Bay Street as the symbolic focal point of business in Canada and how the LGBT community is working towards reshaping the way businesses operate by promoting change and openness. The first conference was successfully held last year with over 150 students from across Canada attending and 15 corporate sponsors. This year, Olympian Mark Tewksbury will deliver the keynote address.

TD Bank Financial Group is the title sponsor for the conference.  Other participating companies include:  Accenture, The Boston Consulting Group, CIBC, Deloitte, Fraser Milner Casgrain, IBM, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, and Scotiabank, with Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Toronto as a hotel sponsor. Travel subsidies available for students outside of Ontario courtesy of Scotiabank.

Please visit http://www.outonbayst.org for more information.

Feel free to pass this along, particularly to any students that you know that may be interested.  As well, post a link to this conference on your career services website.
