Welcome to my webpage! I was born in Alexandria, Egypt, and have finished my high school at College Saint-Marc in 1997. In 2002, I received my B.Sc. with Degree of Honor in Electrical Engineering, at the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, with a cumulative grade of 93.36% (3.96/4). I accomplished my M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at the same university in 2006, with a cumulative grade of 4/4. Being the 2nd top student in my undergraduate class consisting of 316 students, I was hired as a Demonstrator at the Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University in 2002. I was then promoted to Assistant Lecturer in 2006. In 2011, I received my PhD degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Toronto, under the supervision of Prof. Shahrokh Valaee. I am currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow at University of Toronto in conjunction with Siradel Canada. My current research is focused on indoor and outdoor localization and network coding applications in different wireless networks.
