'"Pageants of Delight": Theatrical Influences on Shakespeare'

In 1992 I co-produced and co-directed with Michael Edmunds the video '"Pageants of Delight": Theatrical Influences on Shakespeare.' The video featured in a touring exhibit first mounted at the Theatre Museum, Covent Garden, London, 27 April 1992–18 January 1993. The Canadian premiere was at Stratford Public Library, Stratford, Ontario, 23 April–29 November 1993, in conjunction with the 1993 Festival season. Special screening of the video was held on 2 April 1993, sponsored by the University of Milan and the Piccolo Teatro, Milan, Italy. A tour of the Metropolitan Toronto School Boards followed in 1994–5.

Here is a short excerpt of the video:

The experience of video production stimulated my ongoing desire to find more innovative ways of bringing REED research discoveries to life for a wider public. Web site development is now one of my major commitments as a result. I'm hooked!

Copyright (1992) for '"Pageants of Delight"' is held by the University of Toronto. The video is not for sale but if you are interested in obtaining an informal copy, please contact me for details.
