Services to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Trans Students

  • Individual counseling, support and advocacy for students experiencing difficult issues such as:
  • school conflict
  • relationship conflict (peers, family, romantic)
  • suffering the effects of homophobia, biphobia, depression, anxiety etc.
  • questions regarding one's sexual orientation

Services to Schools and Classrooms

  • Classroom & School-wide presentations addressing homophobia, Kindergarten to Grade 12
  • Information and resource material available to students, teachers and school staff on lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans issues

Services to Students with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans Parents/Caregivers/Guardians

  • Counseling, support and referrals for students with Queer parents
  • Twice Monthly support group, COLAGE (Children of Lesbians and Gays Everywhere) www.colage.org

Services to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Parents

  • Support and advocacy for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans parents experiencing difficulties with schools
  • Referrals to other TDSB supports and Community Resources
  • Consultation and family counseling for Queer parents and/or their children

Services to Teachers & Schools

  • Professional Development workshops on Anti-Homophobia
  • Staff development programs at individual schools
  • Classroom Presentations
  • Consultation & Resource materials
