I am a Mechanical Engineer and Master of Science graduated from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile in 2007. My research career started when I joined the Centre for Research in Creativity and Higher Education (CICES) at the same Institution. My research interests are focussed on the area of fluids, magnetorheology, heat transfer, hemodynamics and higher education. In addition to my research, I also have lectured fluid and classical mechanics for mechanical and aeronautical engineering students of the Air Force of Chile and the Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
I am currently a PhD candidate at the Mechanical and Industrial Department of the University of Toronto, Canada. My current project is focused on the understanding and characterization of blood flows through porous stent devices used in endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms.
