I am from Dhaka, Bangladesh. From my early days I was changing schools quite often. So far as I remember I started with Saint Margaret's Tutorial where I was for a year and then I was off to Maple Leaf International for a good 4 years. In 1986 when I finished my grade IV finals my father came to the conclusion that I had enough of the English Medium and decided to send me to a Bangla Medium School. I got myself admitted into Adamjee Cantonment College, and started over my student life there. Naturally I was really afraid at he start but I think it was a wise decision by my father.

On the 24th of May 1988 I started my life as a cadet in MIRZAPUR CADET COLLEGE. And with that, my frequent school changing days was over. I finished my Secondary and Higher Secondary from there. My Alma Mater had a profound impact in my life. It gave me 50 great friends; it gave me good adapting capabilities and a lot more. Had it been otherwise I might have ended up being a STUPID DUMBASS.

After HSC I went to Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) to study Mechanical Engineering. I was always fascinated with mechanical stuffs and at the same time my life long idol CHANDAN (me uncle) did have an influence on me to come to this decision.

I worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (BUET) for a year before I came to University of Toronto to do my Masters. At present I am a fulltime student hoping to start my PhD in Mechanical Engineering. I have a beautiful and excellent wife Shumee, who is also planning to pursue PhD in Chemical Engineering. During my free time I like to play the Piano and roll my hands over the Tabla. Photography also consumes a lot of my spare time
