I am currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Near & Middle Eastern Civilization at the University of Toronto. My research focuses on the use and significance of lapis lazuli in dynastic Egypt and I am currently creating an extensive catalogue of all archaeological, iconographical, and textual references.
