Frequently Asked Questions
Will
there be other beginner players?
Yes. We
have many beginners join our club each year.
Are
you offering any clinics for beginner players?
No, but we
begin the season with three practices. At the practices the players are divided
into two groups. Brand new players and players with experience. The practice
for the players new to lacrosse covers the same information, skills and drills
that would be offered in an introductory clinic.
What is the skill level in House League like?
The skill
level varies from beginner to intermediate to advanced. Most players are at the
beginner-intermediate level.
Is
the house league competitive?
It's more
fun than competitive.
What
if I don’t have a lacrosse
stick?
We have
sticks that can be borrowed during practices and games. Unfortunately, borrowed
sticks cannot be taken home.
Where
can I buy my own stick?
Unfortunately,
most sports stores that sell lacrosse sticks know nothing about women's
lacrosse or that the sticks are VERY different with the women's version of the
game. We usually organize a team order during the first house league game this
way you can try some different sticks and decide what kind to buy. If you
decide to purchase one on your own you may end up with the wrong kind of stick.

must be at least 19 years of age as of
