FEES AND LIVING EXPENSES

The North American Admissions and Counseling Services office charges fee of EUR2000 for the services we provide to our clients. For details on our services click on Admission requirements. We guarantee your admission, however if for some reason your documents are not accepted by ministry, then we will refund service fee minus the administration charges back to you. The academic year begins on 1st of October. It is advised that applicants apply as early as April-Jun to avoid disappointment. Late admission is possible in some cases. Students once registered may arrive late under special circumstances only.

University of Oradea offers affordable medical education for the foreign student studying in Romania. The value of the tuition fees, which is stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Research, is the same for all universities. The fees for one year of study include the assessed practical experience stipulated in the curricula and the medical assistance, in the same conditions offered to the Romanian students.

Medical Under Graduate Annual Tuition : US$3600
Includes all tuitions for medical doctor education, lab work and hospital rotations, as well as examinations. Tuition is required to be paid in advance for the first year once the Ministry of education has issued acceptance letter. Tuition is paid directly to the University of Oradea .

Monthly Living Expenses: US$300-400 per month
Includes accommodation, food, transport, cable/internet and miscellaneous expenses. This monthly amount can vary depending on the lifestyle of the student. Students on a tight budget usually share and this decreases the monthly rent amount. At 400US$ a month a student can live very comfortably and enjoy high quality yet affordable medical education.

Apartments in Oradea come fully furnished, with TV, Stove, Fridge, Beds and couches. Some more up scale ones come with washing machine and microwaves etc. Cable TV with 24/7 internet access is available for 10$ a month. Apartments cost between 150$ - 300$. Apartments have central heating with central hot water. Lights and water average between 25$-50$ a month.
