2) Run UTGsetup.exe to unzip all files to a folder, e.g. "C:\Program Files\UTGrade".

3) Run RunMeFirst.exe (important) to determine if you meet the software requirements. See image below:

4) If you meet the requirements, you can now run UTGrade by double-clicking UTGrade.exe!

5) If you don't meet the requirements, see below:

IF YOU DON'T MEET THE REQUIREMENTS:

RunMeFirst.exe should tell you what you need and how to get them, it is recommended that you use RunMeFirst.exe to get the files. Below is more info:

NOTE: The file is 19 MB (dotnetfx.exe, 1 hour 7min over 56k). Yeah I know it's a lot for a small program, but it's worth it!

Upgrade Instruction:

Just overwrite your old UTGrade.exe with the new one. If you are upgrading to another university version, you must click to each course screen and then back to main screen to update all letter grades to new scheme!

Uninstall Instruction:

Simply delete UTGrade's folder. UTGrade makes no changes to your system folder or your registry. Make sure that you backup your data.utg if you plan to use UTGrade again (but then why would you delete UTGrade in the first place?).

Previous Version: (for DOS or Windows 95 users)

The previous version of UTGrade is DOS Console-based. Download this version ONLY if you have serious compatibility problems with UTGrade 2.x, e.g. you are using Windows 95. NOTE: this version does not need .NET or MDAC.

Download UTGrade 1.52 (94 KB)

There is no special install procedure, just unzip and run UTGrade.exe.

NOTE: UTGrade 1.x and 2.x have DIFFERENT data formats. Therefore, data files are NOT interchangeable between 1.x and 2.x.
