why free? broken tessitura is dedicated to distributing music and ensuring that everyone has access to it. we believe that digital music functions as a promotion for our releases and our artists' live shows, much the same as a myspace artist page, but that the integrity of an entire album should not be chopped into "best" selections. as such, we release our albums as free digital releases after the tapes have run out of stock. bands can choose whether they wish to partake in this or solicit donations for their releases. available selections each link will bring you to another site where you can listen to the entire album free, and download it free if the physical versions are sold out. there is no limit to how many times or how many albums you may download. however, we encourage you to donate some pocket change in appreciation of the costs incurred and energy expended by artists by clicking the button: [thank you!] bt 001: au vol - flight plan bt 002: au vol - apothecary |
