Education: Ph.D. in Wood Chemistry, Brunel University (U.K.), 2005 M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Beijing, China), 1988 B.S. in Chemistry, Wuhan University (Wuhan, China), 1985 Self-description: I am a responsible man, a knowledgeable chemist and scientist in various fields. I devote myself to my career and my family. I like travel, photography, tennis, badminton and hiking. Since starting my undergraduate study in chemistry at age of 15, I have studied and worked in a number of cities of different countries including China, France, the United Kingdom, Japan and Canada. In addition to these countries, I have also travelled Germany, Italy, Vatican, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, San Marino, Monaco and Slovenia. Now I have settled down in Canada, a beautiful country in North America.
