Part of my responsibilities as Instructional Design Specialist with Distributed Learning Services at College of the North Atlantic is to research and produce standards for quality assurance/quality control for all distributed learning courses, and conduct course reviews to ensure that those standards are met. This is a form that I created for that purpose.

This is the Developer's Guide that I created to help course developers become more efficient and effective in creating online courses (using WebCT). When College of the North Atlantic switched to Desire2Learn in 2007, I replace this with an online training workshop.

This is the Desire2Learn Tips Sheet that I created for online course facilitators and course developers. It contains step-by-step instructions on how to do the most common tasks when using the D2l Learning management System.

This is a diagram (PDF) I created for the purpose of communicating the process of course development to subject matter experts at College of the North Atlantic.

In 2008, College of the North Atlantic began using the Desire2Learn Learning Object Repository. This is a PowerPoint presentation I created for the purpose of communicating to stakeholders the structure of the LOR, as well as the process of uploading, reviewing and retrieving learning objects.
