Welcome to the Shockwave Montessori arithmetic games. If you're looking for an arcade style experience, these games are not for you. However, they are very powerful, intuitive and fun once you've spent some time learning how to use the mouse and keyboard controls. Students find them easy to use when they are shown, particularly Montessori students familiar with the classroom materials upon which these virtual ones are based.

You may want to read the detailed text instructions which appear below each Shockwave game, as forming values and exchanging will seem very frustrating without using the time saving features built into keyboard shortcuts, click-drags and double-clicks.
