If you are looking for information from a book, you have to use library catalogue to locate relevant information. However, if you are looking for journal articles, you have to search within a journal database/index.

Start with your first search in a journal database.If the search is too broad, it gives far too many results. We need to develop a search strategy to:

• narrow the search
• obtain less but more relevant results

You can do this by using various search strategies you learnt in the previous modules. Keep refining your search until you find relevant records.
