Edward W Chan's Home Page at the University of Toronto

Welcome to my home page hosted by the University of Toronto's (U of T) Student Web Server, UTORWeb.  I completed my undergraduate Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree with the internship option in Electrical Engineering at U of T in June 2004.  I am now currently pressuring a Masters of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) degree in the Energy Systems Group in the Edward S. Roger's Sr. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at U of T.

My masters thesis is supervised by Professor Francis Dawson.  My thesis involves designing a fuel cell based power supply for use in industrial vehicles.  My thesis work is supported by a private industry sponsor, the Ontario government via an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (2004-2005), by the Canadian government via an NSERC Postgraduate scholarship (2005-2006), and also by the University of Toronto.
