Welcome!
I received my Ph.D. degree from the Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of
Toronto. My advisor was Professor Teng Joon
(T.J.) Lim.
At the same university, I received the Bachelor of Applied
Science degree with honours in 2001 in the Engineering
Science program (electrical option) and the Master of Applied
Science degree in 2003 in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
My Ph.D. research direction was the development of probabilistic
inference techniques for wireless communications. More details
pertaining to my research may be found on my research
page and the publication
page. I am currently working as a senior systems engineer at
Qualcomm Incorporated, focusing on the PHY/MAC development of the 4G UMB
standard.
