Summary
Diagnosis: Hemophiliac Arthritis
Clinical hints:
Repeated bleeding into his ankles and knees resulted in
synovial proliferation and erosive arthritis in this patient.
Secondary degenerative changes complicates the erosive
arthritis. Hematomas may simulate tumors in these patients (pseudotumors).
Radiological Pearls:
- ankles and knees common sites
- erosions, joint space loss, sclerosis
- effusions, "talar tilt" in ankles
- "squaring of patella" in knees
