Summary
Diagnosis: Asbestos-induced lung disease
Clinical hints:
Although exposure to asbestos is common, many patients do not
give this history. Besides the pleural and parenchymal
changes, these patients are prone to lung cancer and malignant
mesothelioma.
Radiological Pearls:
- pleural plaques
- pleural calcifications
- diffuse interstitial fibrosis
- lung and pleural cancers
