Summary
Diagnosis: Goodpasture's Syndrome
Clinical hints:
The patient did have pneumonia which improved with treatment.
His dropping hematocrit and hematuria prompted tests for anti-glomerular
membrane antibodies. A kidney biopsy confirmed the diagnosis.
Radiological Pearls:
- lung hemorrhage, presents as
- patchy/diffuse air-space changes
- no nodules, cavities, or effusions
- Wegener's gran. part of DDx
