CXR -- PA View



The left lower lung is opacified by a "density" with a convex upper border.  This typical convex boreder is called the "meniscus" sign.




The left hemi-diaphragm is silhouetted out.

Note that there is no gross volume loss in the left hemi-thorax, and there are no air bronchograms seen.
