There are peri-hilar air-space infiltrates present. Note the
air-bronchograms seen bilaterally.
The peri-hilar infiltrates have a typical
"bat-wing" or "Mickey Mouse ears" distribution.
Note that the periphery of both lungs are "black" and
relatively uninvolved with the process. This peripheral "black
lung" finding is typical of this condition.
