Call for Abstracts
Abstract Deadline: SEPTEMBER 6th, 2013

We welcome the submission of abstracts for either oral or poster presentations at the Sixth International Workshop on Arylamine N-Acetyltransferases (the 6th NAT Workshop), to be held in Toronto on October 4-6, 2013.

We will make every effort to accommodate the requests of all individuals who wish to give an oral presentation.

Each abstract should be submitted online, as a Word document, and should include the following information:

Title
Authors (presenting author first)
Institution(s)
Abstract Body (maximum 500 words)
Preferred Presentation Format (Oral Presentation or Poster)
Preferred Oral Session (if applicable):

• Metabolism, detoxication, bioactivation and toxicity of aromatic amines
• NAT pharmacogenetics, polymorphisms and disease risk
• NAT alleles, haplotype assignment and nomenclature
• Novel functions of NAT proteins
• Regulation of NAT gene expression
• NAT structure-function relationships
• NAT in microorganisms
• Development and utility of NAT inhibitors
• Other
