Conclusions This paper has inspected what causes the "digital divide" within and between nations and how they are caused, as well as the impacts they have on the education, globalism, and politics. In sum, although the gaps created by digital divide between nations are now slowly decease there are still considerate amount of differences in digital disparities between the developed, liberal, and affluent nations and developing, restricted, and relatively poor nations. These divides not only exist between different nations, but the research has shown that there are also difference in telecommunication usages among different classes inside developed nations such as minority, and low-income families and their children inside United States. These digital divides can be dangerous because lack of telecommunication access ultimately lead to "lack of information resources" that causes social alienation; and moreover, global segregation between developed and developing nations which lead back to "Pippa Norris's analysis of both 'global divide and 'social divide'¡¦" (Couldry 192) Rather than the access to Internet or other telecommunication itself, the underline consequence of social and economic inequality caused by lack of technology and information resource, are the main problem that the digital divide causes. There are certainly organizations and acts that claims "we are to get rid of digital divide and leave absolutely no people behind", but the reality is most of these attempts were centered on the benefits of developed nations in political or commercial means rather than social and educational benefits of less fortunate nations. (Couldry 193) The upsides are, however, that as the world became more connected by global trends exist within business and economics and as more people become aware about the issue through free-flow information on the internet, the debate about Digital divide became highlighted and considered as important issue. After all, the strong censorship and restrictions on internet never cease to completely block the information to flow around the world where there are no boundaries or time seems to exist.
