  • Taught tutorials, marked assignments and invigilated exams in the following classes: ENV 100 (The Environment), GGR 117 (Introduction to Geography), GGR 377 (Social Research Methods), BIO 152 (Evolution & Evolutionary Genetics), BIO 205 (Ecology).
  • Promoted to head TA in GGR 117 after 1 year of teaching the class.
  • Received reviews from students in BIO 152 in which I was repeatedly complimented on my helpfulness and approachability.

  • Maintained 360 Hyalella azteca for two months for research exploring how fatty acid enriched food effect Great Lakes fish tissue.
  • Analyzed fish tissue samples to evaluate lipid content.
  • Offered a laboratory technician position after internship was completed.

2007-Present         Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital              Toronto, ON Volunteer

  • Maintain a schedule of between 10 -14 hours per week.
  • Responsible for cleaning equipment, cages and laundry, inputting blood and urinalysis test data into spreadsheets, and walking/playing with animals.
  • The veterinarian and technicians have commented that I am the hardest working volunteer they’ve had.
