Convener’s Note

The e-journal version of the TST Homiletics Seminar has now concluded. But keep coming to this site as we will be posting occasional papers from our ongoing sessions. In the meantime, we will continue to keep archived all of our prior issues.

The papers above and the archived articles represent the proceedings of the colloquium held among the homiletics doctoral students and faculty at the Toronto School of Theology. Three times each term we gather to hear TST faculty and colleagues from affiliated colleges present some of their latest research as it pertains to preaching. TST is one of the leading North American graduate schools in homiletics. Its faculty is widely published and teaches internationally. It draws students from Canada, the United States, and around the world into its doctoral program. Its graduates teach at seminaries across the globe. Its goals are to promote scholarship in homiletics, prepare future teachers of preaching, and thereby also renew the life of the church for the sake of the world. We hope you will enjoy overhearing what we have discussed in our colloquium. To read a paper, click the link to it. To learn more about the author, click the link on his or her name. Previous issues can be found in our e-journal's archive.

Sincerely,

Prof. David Schnasa Jacobsen, TSTHS Convener
